OAK Aviation Stakeholder Advisory Committee

About the Committee

The OAK Aviation Stakeholder Advisory Committee was created to assist Port staff in developing a 20-year Master Plan for San Francisco Bay Oakland International Airport. The Stakeholder Advisory Committee consists of representatives (community members and staff) from the cities of Alameda, San Leandro, and Oakland, Hayward, Alameda County, and Airport users, including fixed-base operators, passenger and cargo airlines, and flight training/light general aviation aircraft operators.

Since the completion of the Master Plan in early 2006, the Advisory Committee has continued meeting with Port staff quarterly to learn about and provide input on various Airport capital projects and Port/Airport initiatives, including those recommended in the Master Plan. These meetings are facilitated by the Aviation Planning and Development Department and supported by other Airport staff and consultants, as appropriate.
