Airport Development Program
Oakland International Airport (OAK), owned and operated by the Port of Oakland, is moving forward with its Airport Development Program (ADP). The ADP is an umbrella program for a number of on-going improvement and enhancement projects that maintain OAK’s reputation as the San Francisco Bay Area’s most convenient airport, including the Terminal 2 Improvement Program.
Green Airport Initiatives

Master Plan
The Port of Oakland, in cooperation with the community, has agreed to prepare a 20-year Master Plan for Oakland International Airport. The Port's Aviation Planning staff is preparing the master plan with assistance from specialized consultants for graphics, airfield simulation, aircraft noise analysis, and administration.
